IG

Working with IG we needed to design a app to get across the differing lessons of spread betting. Spread bets are leveraged products and can result in big losses so IG  wanted to ensure that the person betting fully understood the risks involved. Different lessons and scenarios that needed highlighting included betting on volatility and indices, hedging a bet, doubling up etc.

The app was based on what would happen these various lessons when different amounts of money was added to varying prices of points, when the market when rose and fell and how long the bet ran for. I wanted the look and feel to be slick and red was obviously the main colour to keep it on brand. Subtle use of white and black gave it great impact and IG were big fans of the design.

Our inhouse developer, Pedro worked on the backend design of the tool, including all the formulas used in the different lessons and in the end we produced an excellent little tool that fitted the brief perfectly and made quite a complicated subject matter rather easy to understand.
