I was asked to art direct and be lead design on the mammoth 'The Power to Surprise' campaign for Kia - a campaign that would last a year and include many different mediums.
Over twelve months, working with project manager Lynseyy, our studio video guru, Matt and several studio content editors, we joined forces with a host of celebrity talent, production companies, developers, animators to produce a huge amount of engaging content which would go on to win us several awards.
I art-directed 15 different video and photography shoots (I even drove the Kia car in 2 of those videos - living the brand!) and all content would be hosted on the new Sunday Times Driving website which I had recently designed.
OTHERE CONTENT PRODUCED INCLUDED:
–
‘Driving with…’ videos with great talent including William Hardie, Sharon Davies, John Torode and Suzi Perry.
– ‘Design for the future’ video based at the Thames Barrier, London.
– An online interactive which showed how the new hybrid Kia car, the Niro worked which won us a European marketing award
– An infographic in print which did the same
– 3 social campaigns based around talent (Dina Asher-Smith, Pippa Vosper and Conor McDonnell) using their Instagram accounts to live post images of their amazing experiences out and about in the new Kia cars
– Magazine articles
