After my initial concept/design won the pitch for the Telegraph, I Art Directed the whole Campaign for Scottish Widows. There we several print pieces, but the main delivery was to be an interactive tool for hub, tablet and mobile which would get highlight Scottish Widow's latest campaign that 'Life feels better when you have a plan'.
The content would be based on six Telegraph writers who would extol the virtues of planning for tomorrow to inspire you to fulfil your dreams. Whether it’s renovating a home, preparing a garden, hosting a perfect party, taking the trip of a lifetime or discovering the inspiration to be creative, life feels better when you have a plan. My design execution would be very subtle. The campaign photography sent over by Scottish Widows was very 'Instagram' - hazy and surreal with lots of lens flares etc so my design had to compliment that. I went with a stylish beige and red tone which was a big hit with the sponsors.
Working with our developer, we came up with a stylishly simple app that really got the message across that saving for your future is a brilliant thing to do.
