Self Portrait

My favourite album cover of 2000 was Blur's Greatest hits. The band had commissioned British artist Julian Opie, who was well known for his digital art, to draw them from photographs. Depicting Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, the images conveyed the key information about their sitters with the minimum of detail, reducing the subjects to black outlines and block colours.

As a homage to Opie's brilliant style, I decided to do a self portrait which was great fun.
