I was asked to come up! with a campaign design to get across the message that small is beautiful. The new Volkswagen up! epitomised this trend and over several weeks, The telegraph offered downsizing solutions to problems from houses to gardens – and also about the little car making a big impression.
We needed the campaign to run over several newspaper wraps and advertorials in print and over a hub on the Telegraph website for online with iPad apps that told the story of several people who had downsizes and how it worked for them.
I kept the design very minimalistic and was very happy with the result, especially the Weekend Cover wrap. It really proved that less is more - exactly what I wanted to get across in this campaign.
